ZONING BOARD OF APPEALS – SPRING ARBOR TOWNSHIP – August 16 2007

Meeting called to order at 7:01 PM.

Election of a vice-chairperson was postponed until the next ZBA meeting.

Applicant: Lloyd Ganton, Ganton Auto Museum

Jan Gardner, Township Zoning Administrator, reviewed the application for a side yard variance. She also identified that the maximum building coverage exceeded the township limit of 25% which would require an additional variance request. Lloyd Ganton presented his rationales for the side yard variance.

After discussion on the side yard variance requested, the additional information about the maximum building coverage of the lot and additional information needed to clarify the proposed expansion of the museum building, the ZBA board asked the applicant, Lloyd Ganton, to present a detailed plan to the ZBA board.

The application was tabled until the applicant requests a decision by the ZBA Board on a specific plan to expand the Ganton Auto Museum .
