ZONING BOARD OF APPEALS – SPRING ARBOR TOWNSHIP – AUGUST 21, 2003

Present: Al Short, David Herlein, William Jaquays, Bob Roedema
Absent: Beth Kuntzleman

V03-09 Jeffrey & Cherri Abner, 8780 McCain Rd., Parma, 49269 (#000-12-05-351-002-00) for a variance from the rear yard setback, requirement 50’, request for a 26’ setback, difference of 24’.

Motion made by David Herlein to grant the request for a variance of 24’ for a 26’ rear yard setback to allow a pool to be built in the backyard. Second by Bob Roedema. Motion passed with unanimous vote.

V03-10 Harry D. Walling, 237 Woodland Ave., Jackson, (#189-12-09-305-015-00, 2594 Wendover Rd.) for a variance from the side yard setback, requirement 10’, request for a 5’ setback, difference of 5’.

The variance was withdrawn as the ZBA doesn’t have jurisdiction for this application. Therefore, the ZBA refers this matter to the Township Board. Ruth Scott will present the details to the Township Board for further consideration.
