Spring Arbor Township Board Meeting: March 1, 2004 (Special Meeting)

A special board meeting of the Spring Arbor Township Board was held Monday, March 1, 2004, at 7:00 p.m. to approve the new appointments to the Board of Review. The following members were present: Supervisor Will DeGraaf, Treasurer Gloria Melchiori, Trustees Marston Fortress, Troy Ganton and Brent Williams Absent: Clerk Randi DeVries and Trustee Patricia Short. There were no guests at the meeting. The Pledge of Allegiance was led by Supervisor DeGraaf.

Appointment of Secretary. Due to the absence of the Clerk, Randi DeVries, motion was made by Ganton, second by Williams to appoint Supervisor Will DeGraaf as Acting Secretary. Motion carried.

Public Comment. None.

Board of Review. Motion was made by Fortress and second by Ganton, to accept the resignations of John Williams and Warren Dexter from the Board of Review, with regrets, due to their special circumstances, and to have Clerk DeVries write a letter to each of them thanking them for their service; carried.

Public and/or Board Member Comments. Supervisor DeGraaf reminded the Township Board Members of the Special Board Meeting scheduled for March 3, 2004 at 6:00 p.m. to work on the budget.

Adjournment.   Adjournment at 7:03 p.m. on motion by Ganton, supported by Melchiori; carried.
