Planning Commission Minutes: 12.02.03

The meeting was called to order by Chairman Fortress. All members were present.

Visitors were: Ken Moe, George Svinicki, Steve and Teresa Tolles , Ruth Scott, Kelly   Kohn and Gina Geitel .

The minutes of the November 4, 2003 Planning Commission were approved.

Mr. George Svinicki and Mr. Ken Moe presented the Revised Dreams & Designs Site Plan, revised 11-25-03. They further stated that the fence will be installed and would have all asphalt parking. A letter dated December 1, 2003, from OMM Engineering stated that items of concern noted in previous Site Plan Reviews have been addressed satisfactorily, and recommended that the Site Plan be approved. A motion by Williams, seconded by Roth to recommend approval. Motion passed 9-0.

Mrs. Gina Geitel and Mr. Kelly Kohn brought to the attention of the Board the condition of the property at 2631 Fairway Drive, and stated that trash and garbage was not properly taken care of. Junk cars and a motorhome parked in the front yard had not been moved in months, and stated that the entire yard was a mess and was an eyesore for the entire neighborhood. Also, a swimming pool and miscellaneous construction material were in the front yard. They questioned if there was a zoning ordinance to handle the problem. Chairman Fortress suggested they call the Health Department and that he would discuss the problem with Supervisor DeGraaf.

Received a letter for study and info that Mrs. Scott received from Pam Baker concerning Risk Control Services.

As there was no further business, the meeting was adjourned at 9:27 p.m.
