Planning Commission Minutes: 05.06.03

The meeting was called to order by Chairman Fortress. All members were present.

Visitor was: Ruth Scott.

The minutes of the April 1, 2003 meeting were approved.

Proposed change is a change in the text of the Zoning Ordinance. The following Article and Section is amended or altered: ARTICLE V, SECTION 5.25 Sexually Oriented Business. The NEW SECTION is on file. Motion by Short, seconded by Williams to approve. Motion passed 9-0.

Proposed change is a change in the text of the Zoning Ordinance. The following additions would be made as an Amendment to Ordinance No. 4-B, Spring Arbor Township Zoning Ordinance: SECTION 2.2.02, 2.2.03, 2.2.04, 2.2.05, 2.2.06, 2.2.07, 2.2.29, 2.2.30, 22.46, 22.47, 22.48, 2.2.53, 22.53, 2.2.57, 2.2.62, 2.2.63, 2.2.68, and 2.2.69. Motion by Short, seconded by Roth to recommend approval. Motion passed 9-0.

ZBA minutes of the April 24, 2003 meeting were received.

The Meeting was adjourned at 7:47 p.m.

The Adjournment was withdrawn because of unfinished business.

A proposed change in ARTICLE IV, SECTION 4.5. The NEW SECTION reads as follows: 15. Sexually oriented business only in accordance with the regulations as specified in Article V, Section 5.25. A motion by Williams, seconded by Roth to recommend approval. Motion passed 9-0.

A proposed change of ARTICLE V, SECTION 5.26-OPEN SPACE PRESERVATION-attachment on file. Motion by Holton, seconded by Jacobson to recommend approval.
Motion passed 9-0.

As there was no further business, the meeting was adjourned at 7:55 p.m.
