On behalf of the proposed Stone Ridge Development on King Road , George Svinicki asked what the Township’s position is regarding OMM’s requirement / suggestion that the sanitary sewers be gravity fed with one central pumping station.   Mr. Svinicki pointed out that the topography of the site did not lend itself to gravity sewers.   Chairman Fortress advised Mr. Svinicki that the Township has a strong preference for gravity sewer systems, unless it can be proven that installation of same is economically or physically impractical.   He stated the burden of proof was on Stone Ridge’s developers, and that the Township would make a decision after OMM’s review of the facts is completed and a recommendation is received from them.
