Planning Commission Meeting 04.05.05

The meeting was called to order by Chairman Fortress.   Those present were:   R. Roth, M. Fortress, A. Short, C. Jacobson, K. Melville, E. Poleski and R. Holton.   Absent were D. Evans and J. Williams.

Visitor: Ruth Scott , Gordon Milnes, Philip Bartlett, Erin Kreger, Jason Kreger, Matt Taylor, Bobby Pratt and Mike Kesterson .

The Minutes of the March 1, 2005 meeting were approved.

Gordon Milnes explained Rezoning Request (RZ05-1) (#000-12-16-251-003-02) located on King Rd.   Chairman Fortress advised that water and sewer must be in the public right-of-way.

Motion by Short, seconded by Holton that we recommend to the Township Board approval of the change from AG-1 to RS-1.   Motion carried. 7-0

Mike Kesterson explained the Site Plan for Kowach – 2615 Chapel Rd. , (000-12-09-351-001-02) (SPR05-1).   Also a letter was received from OMM concerning the sanitary sewer (on file).   A motion by Holton, seconded by Jacobson to approve Plan. Motion carried 7-0.

Proposed Zoning Ordinance was reviewed.   Final review is targeted for May, and public hearing in June.
