Planning Commission Minutes 04.04.06

The regular meeting of the Spring Arbor Township Planning Commission was called to order by Chair Fortress on Tuesday, April 4, 2006 at 7:30 PM at the Township Hall.

Members Present:   Fortress, Holton, Jacobson, Melville, Poleski, Roth, Williams.

Members Absent:   Evans, Short.

Visitors Present:   Sean Lefere (Norfolk Development), Beverly Doyle, Mike Doyle, Ronald Spangler.

APPROVAL OF MINUTES OF PREVIOUS MINUTES:

Motion by Jacobson, supported by Roth, to approve the minutes of the February 7, 2006 meeting as presented. Motion carried.

Motion by Holton, supported by Williams, to clarify the minutes of January 3, 2006 to note the departure of Marston Fortress from the meeting at 8:20 PM.   Motion carried.

SITE PLAN REVIEW:   SPR 06-1  

Sean Lefere of Norfolk Development presented his firm’s proposed amendment regarding Magnolia Park off O’Brien Road.

The amendment consists largely in the reduction of the number of lots by three.  

Motion by Melville, supported by Jacobson, to approve this amendment as contained in the documentation provided to the Township office.   Motion carried.

Upon motion by Williams, supported by Melville, the meeting was adjourned at 8:00 PM.
