Planning Commision Minutes - January 8, 2008

The regular meeting of the Spring Arbor Township Planning Commission was called to order by Chairman Fortress on Tuesday, January 8, 2008, at 7:00 p.m. in the Township Hall.

Members Present: Ken Melville, Robert Poole, Roy Holton, Marston Fortress, Carl Jacobson, Richard Roth and David Herlein.

Members Absent: Dave Herlein.

Visitors present: Clifford V. Dice, President Dice Homes; Khawala M. Ikram,

CPA; Jack Rispstar, Engineer

Motion was made by Roth and supported by Jacobson to approve the minutes from the December 4, 2007 Planning Commission meeting; carried.

Mel Rice was introduced to all. Mel Rice is a new member of the Planning Commission.

Carl Jacobson was asked to take minutes.

Election of officers: Motion by Robert Poole with a second by Roy Holton to elect Marston Fortress as Chairman of 2008. Carried by unanimous motion. Motions by Roy Holton with a second by Jacobson to have Robert Poole serve as Vice Chairman. Carried by unanimous motion. Motion by Ken Melville and supported by Williams to have Dave Herlein serve as Secretary. Carried by unanimous motion.

New business:

Site Plan Review (SPR07-1) – Spring Arbor Heights Site Condo. Those explaining request to move 30’ from lot #14 to lot #13 were Ikram, Dice and Ripstra. The Master Deed has been amended to reflect this lot line adjustment. The overall size of the Spring Arbor Heights Site Condominium is not affected by this change. It was moved by Roth and supported by Holton to grant the request. Carried by unanimous motion.
