Firefighter Association

One of the most admired and appreciated functions of the volunteer fire department is their Firefighters Association. For 50 years, the 30-member group, along with their family members, has raised funds to provide community support as well as buy equipment not provided in the Township's fire budget. Last May, for example, the Association sponsored the 50th annual pancake breakfast.

Events such as these as well as the $5,000 annual donation from Spring Arbor University enabled the Association to sponsor fire-prevention programs as well as other activities like the After Prom party in local schools, support the Little League and soccer teams, the Boy Scouts, the Spring Arbor Township Memorial Day Parade and assistance to community members in need.
